I am a qualified Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT) Canine – Advanced Level 5, and as a member of the ‘International Institute for Canine Ethics’, I practice positive reinforcement methods only.
- We offer a Fully qualified support of the highest standard for the following:
- Prevention and management of challenging behaviours.
- Initial support of complex behaviours, plus further modification as required following assessment.
- With a great depth of knowledge and ongoing experience, we will always provide a mindful and conscientious service.
- We believe that there is no place for punishment when helping dogs learn and overcome various challenges. The aim is always to guide our dogs clearly and set them up for success, rather than ‘force’ them to behave in certain ways through fear and intimidation.
- Helping you bring out the best in your dog using Positive Reinforcement Training methods only.

* The difference between a Dog Training Session and Behavioural advice is that dog training is teaching the dog skills that he/she hasn’t already learnt – whereas a behavioural service is ‘modifying’ a dogs problematic/troubled behavioural issue. The process of improving a behaviour requires firstly gaining an in-depth understanding of why the behaviour might be happening, including the influences which may be exacerbating it, including, the environment, the owner/guardian behaviour and previous experiences. We look to build the dogs confidence, aim to reduce any stress, and help turn negative emotions to positive ones – the first step to modifying a behaviour is to ‘prevent’ your dog from continuing to repeat the unwanted behaviour. We often need to hone in on elements of the basic foundations of training (depending on the issue). We support you and your dog, to help re-build trust where needed and to improve the overall dog-owner communication and connection.
*Please Complete this Form* – this will provide me with some initial essential information about your dog and their behaviour – Press on this highlighted line to access the form
- When you complete this form, I’ll have more of an insight into your dogs life as a whole, which can often influence how/why their behaviours have developed. This is a no obligation form, purely just to share information at this stage.
- Many challenging behavioural issues are driven by negative emotions and there is definitely no quick-fix, it can take a lot of time and patience, but with your commitment and patience, progress can be made for many issues and certainly improved to an acceptable/tolerable level.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It’s important that you discuss the behaviour issue with your vet first and have an initial health check, so they can rule out any underlying physical illness/health issue that may be influencing your dogs behaviour – undetected medical issues can often be responsible for many challenging dog behaviours.
First Session – £60 – (This is a 90minute face to face session) – The first session is an all essential, thorough fact finding process and assessment of the challenging behavioural issues. *NB – a slight raise to £72 from Jan 2026
- Date, Time & Venue – We’ll work this out between us, to suit your diary.
- TO BOOK… please email: dogsclub@outlook.com
- It’s preferable for me to come to your home for this session, because the dog should be at their most relaxed in their familiar home environment.
- We’ll discuss and clarify everything and if appropriate, we may see the behaviour in action.
- We’ll work through some key points together and establish some foundation exercises, so that you have some exercises to work with to get started straight away.
- The foundation exercises and interim management are the initial steps, then these are integrated to support the behaviour modification in situ.
- Once I’ve taken away all the information, I like to assess and re-asses everything – sometimes the small details can be very telling and should not be overlooked.
- I’ll provide a written summary for you to continue to work from.
Additional Visits – Additional visits/meet ups are very important – especially with behaviours that happen outside the home. It’s unrealistic to expect that our initial 90minute session will provide all the information you need to complete the behaviour modification; unfortunately it just doesn’t work like that, because important key skills and details with regards to handling and managing situations at the time, are crucial when helping your dog progress. Follow up sessions:- £45 for an hours session.
1-2-1 – ADULT DOG – Training Sessions – for Focus, Everyday essential Skills, Recall, Lead walking, Jumping up and Impulse control.

- Follow on Sessions – £45 per 1hr Training Session *NB – a slight raise to £55 from Jan 2026

These sessions are perfect for dogs who may not thrive in a group class scenario. Training proves most fruitful when distractions are introduced gradually, so these 1-2-1 sessions can be perfect to provide an environment with fewer distractions, whilst they are initially learning.
The first session is always an all essential, thorough fact finding process. We work with ‘Positive Reinforcement’ only, to help bring out the best in the dogs, highlighting ways to help them thrive, feel confident and be able to make good decisions in many situations which may arouse, upset and/or over excite them. We highlight how dogs learn and communicate and give you useful follow up summary notes of our session, for you to use as a reference as you continue working with your dog.

Young Puppies are like sponges and are learning all the time. It’s such an exciting and crucial time, as this early puppyhood is the time where you start to build a vocabulary, build their trust and strengthen your relationship. A clear line of communication between you is essential, so that you are able to communicate well in any environment – puppyhood is a ‘golden time’ and an opportunity not to be taken lightly.
With regards to Puppy Training, I feel 1-2-1 sessions work so well, because they are tailored to your specific needs – all Pups are individuals (just like we are), so it seems only right that their initial training is specifically tailored to their needs. Here’s the information about the Puppy Training that I offer.
We’ll cover the following:
- Essential Communication – building a great connection with your pup and the importance of Clarity, Timing and Consistency.
- Essential Basic Skills.
- Essential Focus games (great focus is the core of many essential behaviours) – to be able to draw (and keep) their attention when you need to.
- Essentials for achieving a reliable Recall.
- Essentials for achieving consistent Loose-lead Walking.
- Impulse Control.
- Ongoing Socialisation – essential familiarisation our human society (prevent potential anxieties).
- Routines & Structure – day to day.
- How to be a Brilliant Leader – things to do every day to support your pup as they grow to be a confident, happy and healthy dog.
