  • I help you bring out the best in you dog, highlighting ways to help them thrive, feel confident and be able to make good decisions in many situations which may arouse, upset and/or over excite them. Communicating well with your dog is key, as you both look to enjoy a fun and stress-free life together, at home as well as out and about.
  • I am a qualified Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT) Canine – Advanced Level 5, and as a member of the ‘International Institute for Canine Ethics’, I practice positive reinforcement methods only.
  • I have a great depth of knowledge and ongoing experience to offer/provide a mindful and conscientious service.

Young Puppies are like sponges and are learning all the time. It’s such an exciting and crucial time, as this early puppyhood is the time where you start to build a vocabulary, build their trust and strengthen your relationship. A clear line of communication between you is essential, so that you are able to communicate well in any environment – puppyhood is a ‘golden time’ and an opportunity not to be taken lightly.

Behavioural Advice, Guidance and Support

I am a qualified Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT) Canine – Advanced Level 5, and as a member of the ‘International Institute for Canine Ethics’, I practice positive reinforcement methods only.

I aim to help you bring out the best in your dog and uncover why they are behaving in a troubled/unsettled way, what could have initially started it and what probably motivates it to continue.

We offer a Fully qualified support of the highest standard for the following:

  • Prevention and management of challenging behaviours.
  • Initial support of complex behaviours, plus further modification as required following assessment.

I strongly advise that you have an initial vet health check to rule out any underlying physical illness – undetected health issues can often be responsible for many challenging dog behaviours.

Puppy Activity Session – 1hour group session – PLAY & LEARN early years key skills! (up to 10-12mths)

This is a great introduction for the pups to Fun Dog Agility (we use zero impact obstacles for these sessions)… We work towards building a great connection and communication with your pups and we highlight how guiding with clear instructions and good timing, are key for training anything new! Fun Dog Agility helps them learn to focus on you (listen and watch you), it helps to build their confidence, establish a sense of achievement and strengthens your bond/trust together, which can ultimately help towards them being more balanced when faced with challenges. LEAD WALKING & ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILLS – 1hr Class – helping you bring out the best in your dog…

A thorough look at the following:-

  • Loose-lead Walking – A thorough guide to help you train your dog to walk on a loose-lead.  It’s a really useful/important skill, very much based on focus.
  • We’ll look at Focus – this is an essential ‘must have’ for everyday life with your dog, to enable you to draw their attention to you and gain control whenever you need to.
  • Impulse Control – We’ll show you how to include impulse control as part of everyday life – helping them to use self-control when needed.

Brush-up your RECALL! – using essential training Games to help get a recall you can rely on!

Recall is about reliably being able to draw their focus and primarily it’s about motivating them to want to come all the way back!

Tapping into what naturally appeals to them is the key, so we highlight how to work with fun and play, combined with clarity, timing and consistency, to help your dog decide that when you call them back, it’s definitely worth coming!

There’s no quick fix, so we thoroughly show you the process, then it’s over to you to continue your recall training frequently, to achieve a reliable recall. We give follow up notes, so you can continue your great work after the session.
